The SACU Secretariat is selling the following listed vehicle through a public auction.
1. Mercedes Benz E200 Avantgarde, White
2. Model 2015
3. Kilometres: 28,100
All offers need to adhere to the following requirements:
Submissions should take the form of a business letter, inclusive of the full name, surname, and contact
details. They must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and directed to the attention of the Procurement
Officer. All bids must be delivered to the SACU Secretariat, situated at the intersection of Julius Nyerere &
Feld Street, Erf 8531. To view the vehicle, appointments can be scheduled at the mentioned address
between the 4th and 8th of December 2023, from 08:00 to 17:00.
Terms & Conditions of auction:
• Vehicle is sold “voetstoots” (as is).
• Cash or EFT only.
• Vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder who has 48 hours from issue of invoice, to provide proof
of payment.
• Vehicle can only be removed from SACU premises once the deregistration with the Ministry of
International Relations and Cooperation has been processed.
• Should the highest bidder failed to comply with any of the above-mentioned terms and conditions,
his/her bid will not be accepted and the next highest bidder on the list will be considered.

The successful bidder will be notified by 08 December 2023 – 17h00 (5pm).
The SACU Secretariat reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal that fails to meet its requirements
and will not, in any case, be responsible or liable for any costs associated with the preparation and
submission of any proposal.
