OmniTel Namibia (Pty) Ltd. started its operations on 1 October 2008, resulting from a management buyout of Siemens Enterprise Communications (Pty) Ltd in Namibia. Siemens has been active in Namibia in this market in excess of 40 years. The business was bought as a going concern and all staff accepted employment in the newly formed company.
